Munich Gay Cruising & Fetish Guide

In response to the no-smoking rules for all public bars, clubs and restaurants in Bavaria since January 2008 many gay bars in Munich have declared themselves "private". So, don't be surprised if you have to pay a small membership fee of some kind even if you just came to have a beer or two.

If you are into outdoor cruising: Although quite popular in Munich, sex in public areas (like the Englischer Garten) is not permitted officially and is regularly checked by the police.
